New Delaware State regulations affecting the Quillen’s Point water system took effect in February, 2024, to control cross-contamination from residential garden hoses, pools, docks and irrigation systems, and, potentially, from other community water features such as dock water, our distribution system and the like. They affect every property at Quillen’s Point. Learn more about it here, and in the short videos below.
All QP properties have been inspected and owners received their inspection reports in July, 2024, with instructions for remediation, as required by state and federal law. The Quillen’s Point deadline for compliance by individual properties was originally set for May, 2025. At that time, a substantial number of homes had not remediated, and the Board agreed to extend the deadline to September 30, 2025. Reminders were sent in June and September, 2025 and many have taken the necessary steps. However, several homeowners have not responded

COMMON AREAS ADVISORY NOTICE
The Quillen’s Point Homeowners Association reminds owners of the significance of QP’s “common areas,” including the marina, the tennis court, the recreation area and the roadway rights-of-way in front of your lot. Read the summary “Common Areas Advisory” document here.

Reminder: Quillen’s Point’s water system management company is Artesian Water Company. Here’s how to report water problems at Quillen’s Point.
