  • Owners have ratified the 2024 budget and assessments (49-7)
  • QPHA is conducting a required inventory of lead pipes and fittings in the QP water system, requiring cooperation from homeowners. Details available here.
  • “Pine wilt” disease is killing old pine trees in several parts of the community. Please arrange to have your dead trees removed to prevent damage to homes.

“Pine wilt” disease is killing trees in Quillen’s Point. Here’s what to know:

  • “Pine Wilt” is killing several pine trees in QP
  • Kills old-growth pine trees quickly – a few days to a few months
  • First symptoms are needle discoloration (green to gray to brown)
  • Disease moves from top to bottom; needles remain on the tree
  • Disease can spread to other trees
  • Infected and dead trees require timely removal and destruction
  • Trees can be inspected; unaffected trees can be protected with preventative injections by an arborist
  • Homeowners are responsible for attending to their trees
  • Diseased trees could cause damage or injury when they fall, incurring liability


Alternate-week recycling is in effect.
